Kurzbiographie

1991–1998 Studium der Humanmedizin an der Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe Universität Frankfurt am Main und an der Katholischen Universität Rom, Italien. 1998–2007 Facharztausbildung zum Radiologen und Neuroradiologen am Krankenhaus Nordwest, Frankfurt am Main und an den Universitätskliniken Frankfurt und Heidelberg.

2007–2013 Oberarzt der Abteilung Neuroradiologie am Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg, seit 2011 Geschäftsführender Oberarzt und Sektionsleiter für Interventionelle Neuroradiologie.

2008 Habilitation, 2012 außerplanmäßige Professur für das Fach Diagnostische Radiologie an der Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.

Seit Mai 2013 Ärztlicher Direktor der Klinik für Radiologie und Neuroradiologie

am Klinikum Dortmund.

Vaskuläre Bildgebung, mechanische Rekanalisation beim akuten Schlaganfall, endovaskuläre Behandlung von intrakraniellen Aneurysmen, lokale Chemotherapie von Kopf-Hals-Tumoren
